(MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA)—Public Strategy Associates, a Montgomery-based political consulting, public relations and marketing company, will release the results of a poll the company commissioned at a news conference Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in Suite 770 of the Alabama Center for Commerce Building. PSA conducted the poll of known Alabama Republican voters this week and asked them their choices for Governor and Attorney General in the upcoming June GOP Primary. In addition, respondents were asked their choice for President in 2012. Pollster Mike Baselice, CEO of Baselice and Associates of Austin, Texas, who was hired to conduct the poll, will be on hand to discuss the results.  Voter data for the poll was provided by the Arlington, VA-based firm Braynard Group, Inc.

“We are excited to have Mike Baselice in Alabama to expound on the results of the poll our company commissioned of likely Republican Primary voters,” said Brent Buchanan, a partner in Public Strategy Associates. “And we will be interested to see where the Presidential race in Alabama in 2012 stands right now,” he concluded.

“Mike is an old friend and one of the best in the business, and we know this independent poll will give Republican voters a non-biased view of where the six gubernatorial candidates and two AG candidates stack up,” said Jack Campbell, a partner in Public Strategy Associates.

The news conference will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m., and media representatives are asked to arrive no later than 10:20 a.m. The code for the South Hull Street parking deck is 006*. Following the news conference, a by-invitation-only luncheon hosted by Public Strategy Associates and the Braynard Group featuring Mike Baselice as the keynote speaker will be held beginning at 11:15 a.m. on the sixth floor of the RSA Plaza Terrace, 770 Washington Avenue.
